Detroit Series 60 Turbo (New 171702 Upgrade)

Genuine Borg Warner stock replacement turbo for Detroit Series 60 diesel motors. This turbo comes with the gaskets and has a one year unlimited mile warranty.

This “E” series turbo denotes product enhancements which include a Forged Milled Compressor Wheel (FMW), 360 degree thrust bearing system, substantial compressor flow increase and four points of compressor efficiency over the SX version (171702). The compressor is a 10-blade, high-flow, FMW which offers increased tensile strength which improves resistance to failure when compared to billet and cast compressor wheels. The 14969880029 comes from the factory paired with a 1.32 A/R divided turbine inlet which has a 5.75 Marmon connection.

***This turbo is good for around 500-550hp! You can use a 14969880029 for 600-650hp or a 14969880004 for 550-700hp or a 177287 for +700hp***
